Add terms and conditions to the rewards dashboard

Updated September 11, 2026

You can publish terms for your loyalty programme as a link on the rewards dashboard that opens a popup. Set it up under Points & Rewards › Settings › Terms and Conditions.

Turn the terms on

Switch on Enable Terms and Conditions and the rest of the settings appear. A terms link is then shown at the foot of the rewards dashboard, opening your content in a popup rather than sending customers to another page.

Choose where the link appears

  • Link Text — your own wording for the link. Leave it blank to use the default, which is translated automatically.
  • Show on rewards dashboard — on by default.
  • Show on rewards widget — on by default. Turn it off if the floating widget is too small to carry it comfortably.

Write the terms

Terms Content is a full WordPress editor, so you can format headings, lists and links as you would in a page.

A starting draft is supplied covering eligibility, earning, redemption, validity, account suspension, programme changes and governing law. It is a template, not legal advice.

Generate a draft from your settings

Generate from Current Settings writes a draft that reflects how your programme is actually configured, rather than the generic starting text. It is a convenience, not a substitute for review: read what it produces, adapt it to your business, and take legal advice if your situation calls for it.

If you later change how the programme works — say you enable points expiry or alter your redemption rate — the terms do not update themselves. Regenerate or edit them when the programme changes.
