Managing Customer Accounts & Bans

Updated September 11, 2026

Admins have full control over individual customer point balances and programme participation through the Customer Points admin area (Points & Rewards › Customer Points).

Viewing a Customer

The Customer Points table lists all customers with points. Click a customer to open their detail page, which shows:

  • Current points balance
  • Total points earned (lifetime)
  • Total points redeemed
  • Referral statistics
  • Account status (active or banned)
  • Last active date

Manually Adjusting Points

From the customer detail page you can add or remove a custom number of points. Provide a reason label, which is recorded in the customer’s points history and the activity log. Use this for:

  • Customer service goodwill gestures
  • Correcting errors
  • Compensating for issues
  • Manual promotions

Banning a Customer

You can set a customer’s account status to Banned. A banned customer:

  • Cannot earn new points
  • Cannot redeem rewards or apply points discounts
  • Has the Rewards dashboard hidden from their My Account page

Banning is useful for dealing with abuse or fraudulent activity. The customer’s existing balance is preserved but frozen. You can unban them at any time to restore access.

Account Status After Migration

When migrating from a compatible plugin, the active/banned status is carried over where the source plugin stored it, so you don’t lose your moderation decisions.

Bulk Management

The admin tables support bulk actions for efficient management. The Points Activity Log, for example, supports bulk delete and undo of log entries. See “Admin Management Tools” for the full set of admin capabilities.
