Installing the Free Plugin

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins › Add New.
2. Search for Simple Points and Rewards.
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Installing the Pro Plugin

1. Purchase the premium plan from the plugin website.
2. Download the premium plugin ZIP file from your account dashboard.
3. In WordPress admin, go to Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin.
4. Upload the ZIP file and click Install Now, then Activate.
5. Go to Points & Rewards › Account and enter your license key to activate premium features.

First Steps After Activation

1. Navigate to Points & Rewards › Settings in your WordPress admin menu.
2. Set your Points Label (e.g., “Points”, “Stars”, “Coins”) on the Points Label tab.
3. Configure your earning rules on the Ways to Earn tab – at minimum, enable Points for Spending and set your earning rate.
4. Create at least one reward on the Rewards tab so customers have something to redeem their points for.
5. Optionally enable the Rewards tab on My Account, from the Rewards Dashboard tab, so customers can view their balance and history.
6. Enable the notification emails on the Email Notifications tab so customers are told when they earn points or claim rewards.

Plugin Menu Location

After activation, a Points & Rewards top-level menu item appears in the WordPress admin sidebar. From there you can access Settings, Customer Points, Points Activity Log, and (on premium) additional management pages.
