Creating & Managing Rewards

Rewards are configured under Points & Rewards › Settings › Rewards. Click Add Reward to create a new reward, or click an existing reward to edit it.

Reward Fields

  • Name – Display name shown on the customer’s dashboard (e.g. “£5 Off Voucher”).
  • Description – Optional marketing description shown below the reward name.
  • Icon – An emoji or Font Awesome icon class displayed as the reward badge.
  • Points Cost – How many points the customer must spend to claim this reward.
  • Enabled – Toggle whether the reward is visible and claimable.
  • Type – Voucher, Product, or Custom.

Voucher Reward Settings

  • Discount Type – Fixed cart, Percentage, or Fixed product.
  • Discount Amount – Monetary or percentage value.
  • Free Shipping – Also grant free shipping with this voucher.
  • Coupon Template (Pro) – Reference an existing WooCommerce coupon to copy its settings (minimum order, excluded products, etc.) onto generated vouchers.

Product Reward Settings

  • Product – Select the product to grant for free.

Custom Reward Settings

  • Developer ID – A namespace string identifying the reward for your custom code to act on.

Pro Reward Options

  • Max Claims per User – Limit how many times a single customer can claim this reward.
  • Expiry Date – Set a date after which the reward is no longer claimable.

Reward Order

Drag rewards to reorder them on the customer-facing dashboard. Ordering changes take effect immediately.

Generated Voucher Codes

Vouchers are generated with the prefix voucher- followed by a random 8-character string (e.g. voucher-a1b2c3d4). Each generated coupon is restricted to the claiming customer’s email address and has a usage limit of 1.
