Change what each rewards dashboard tab shows

Simple Points and RewardsUpdated October 27, 2026

Each tab of the rewards dashboard has its own sub-tab under Points & Rewards › Settings › Rewards Dashboard › Dashboard Customisation. Use them to change headings and wording, and to hide parts you do not need. Leave a text field empty to use the wording shown in it. {points_label} is replaced with your points label.

Earn Points

The ways customers can earn points. Which ways are offered, and their labels, are set under Ways to Earn.

  • Layout: Cards, grouped by type (recommended) or Classic list. Cards sit side by side on wider screens, are grouped under headings when there are many ways to earn, and move the ways a customer has already completed to a “Completed” section at the end. The classic list shows each way to earn as a full-width row, as in versions before 3.0.0.
  • Show an intro message above the ways to earn, with your own Intro message.

Claim Rewards

The rewards customers can claim, and the points discount. The rewards themselves are set on the Rewards tab.

  • Heading, Claim button text and Intro text.
  • On each reward: switch each of these on or off: the reward name, its points cost, what it is worth, a full sentence about the points needed (or a short “Need 50 more points”), a progress bar towards the reward, and confetti when a reward is claimed.
  • Points discount: Show the points discount section, with its own Heading and Intro message. The intro message is also used in the floating rewards widget. The section only shows while points discounts are on.

Your Vouchers

The vouchers a customer has claimed, with their codes. Only logged-in customers see this tab, and only while reward vouchers are on.

  • Heading, Intro text and Text when there are no vouchers.
  • Include vouchers that have already been used: turn it off to list only vouchers that can still be used.

Levels

The customer’s level and progress to the next one. This tab only shows while levels are on.

  • Heading for the current level.
  • Show every level under the customer’s progress, with its own Heading.
  • Show each level’s benefits.

History

Every change to the customer’s points, newest first. Only logged-in customers see this tab.

  • Heading and Text when there is no history yet.
  • Entries per page: 1 to 100, 10 by default.
  • Show the filter (all, earned, spent).
  • Show the order subtotal, discount and total on order entries.

Where the older settings went

Before version 3.0.0, some of these options had different labels on the Rewards Dashboard tab, such as Earn Points Text, Redemption Text and the Redemption Section toggles. They are now on the sub-tabs above.
