Give credit to many customers at once (PRO)
Updated September 14, 2026
Bulk credit grants a fixed amount to a whole group of customers in one run – handy for an apology after an outage, a seasonal gesture, or seeding a new wholesale tier. It is a PRO feature, reached from the Bulk Manage Credit button at the top of Store Credit › Customers.
Run a bulk grant
- Set Apply to to All users or to a specific WordPress role.
- Enter the Amount per customer.
- Add a Note – it is stored against every credit history entry the run creates, so make it something a customer will understand.
- Click Add Bulk Credit and leave the page open while it works.
The run processes customers in chunks with a progress indicator rather than in one request, so a large customer base does not time out. A confirmation tells you how many customers were credited when it finishes.
Safeguards
- Each submission carries a one-time token, so a refreshed page or a double-click cannot grant the same credit twice. If you genuinely want to run it again, submit the form again.
- An unusually large per-customer amount is refused rather than applied, as a guard against a mistyped figure.
Bulk credit always goes to the account balance. There is no undo, so it is worth testing the role selection on a staging site – or with a small amount – before a large run. To reverse one, use the Activity screen to identify the entries and adjust the affected customers back.
