The Spin Wheel is an interactive gamification feature that lets customers spin a virtual wheel each day for a chance to win points. It creates an exciting daily ritual that drives repeat visits. Configure it under Points & Rewards → Settings → Earn → Spin Wheel.
Configuration #
- Enabled – Toggle the spin wheel on or off.
- Daily Spins – How many spins each customer gets per day.
- Prizes – Define the prize segments shown on the wheel, each with a label and point value.
How It Works #
When the spin wheel is enabled, customers see an interactive spinning wheel on their Rewards dashboard. They can spin once (or the configured number of times) per day. Each segment of the wheel corresponds to a prize configuration. When the wheel stops, the customer is awarded the points for that segment.
Configuring Prizes #
You can define any number of prize segments. Each segment has:
- Etikett – Displayed on the wheel segment (e.g. “50 Points”, “Try Again”, “Jackpot!”).
- Points – How many points to award for landing on this segment (use 0 for “Try Again” segments).
For a fair distribution, the wheel segments are evenly sized by default. Make low-value prizes more common than high-value prizes to control your points liability.
Spin History #
All spin outcomes are logged in the database. Spin results appear in the customer’s points history.
