Conditional Earning Rules allow you to define advanced point-earning conditions based on products, categories, customer roles, order amounts, and more. This goes beyond the flat earning rate to create targeted incentives. Configure rules under Points & Rewards → Settings → Earn → Conditional Rules.
What Can Be Targeted? #
Rules can be based on:
- Produkt – Award extra (or fewer) points on specific products.
- Product Category – Apply a multiplier or fixed bonus to entire product categories.
- Product Tag – Target products by tag.
- Customer Role – Different earning rates for different user roles (e.g. wholesale customers).
- Order Total – Bonus points when an order exceeds a value threshold.
Rule Actions #
Each rule can:
- Multiply – Apply a points multiplier (e.g. 2× points on sale items).
- Add – Add a fixed bonus on top of standard points.
- Override – Replace the standard rate entirely for matching conditions.
Rule Priority #
When multiple rules match, higher-priority rules take precedence. Drag to reorder rules and set their priority.
Example Use Cases #
- Double points on new arrivals category for the first month.
- Triple points for VIP customer role on all purchases.
- Bonus 100 points when a single order exceeds £100.
- Reduced earning rate on clearance / heavily-discounted items.
