What each coupon error message means

When a Better Coupon Restrictions rule rejects a coupon, the shopper sees one of the default messages below, unless the coupon has a Custom Error Message for that section. Use this table to find the setting to check on the coupon’s Better Coupon Restrictions tab.
If the message is not in this list, it came from WooCommerce itself (for example “This coupon has expired.”) or from another plugin.
Product and cart messages
