Restrict a coupon to products with quantity limits

Improved Product Restrictions limits a coupon to carts that contain specific products, and lets you require a minimum or maximum quantity of each one. It replaces WooCommerce’s own Products and Exclude products fields for that coupon.
Find it at the top of the Better Coupon Restrictions tab when editing a coupon.
Turn on product restrictions
- Edit the coupon and open the Better Coupon Restrictions tab.
- Tick Enable under Improved Product Restrictions. The product table appears, and WooCommerce’s Products and Exclude products fields are hidden on the Usage restriction tab.
- Choose Any of the below or All of the below for Allowed products.
- In the table, search for a product. For a variable product, pick a specific variation or leave – Any Variation –.
- Enter a Min. Quantity and Max. Quantity if needed. Leave a box blank for no limit.
- Click Add New for more rows, then save the coupon.
If the coupon already had products in WooCommerce’s Products field, they are shown as rows with a minimum quantity of 1 the first time you open the tab.
Any or all of the products
- Any of the below: the coupon is valid if at least one row is matched by a cart line.
- All of the below: every row must be matched by a cart line.
A row is matched when a cart line has that product (and that variation, if one is chosen) and the line’s quantity is within the row’s minimum and maximum. Quantities are checked per cart line, so two separate lines of the same product are not added together.
Exclude products
Exclude Products is saved to WooCommerce’s own excluded products list, so WooCommerce handles it exactly as it normally would.
Which items get the discount
For coupons with the Fixed product discount type, the discount is only given on cart lines that match a row. For Percentage discount and Fixed cart discount coupons, the rows decide whether the coupon can be used, but WooCommerce calculates the discount across every item that is not excluded. Turning the section off again
When you tick Enable and save, the products move out of WooCommerce’s Products field and into this table. If you later untick Enable, the coupon is no longer limited to those products. Re-enter them in WooCommerce’s Products field if you still need a product restriction.
