Limit a coupon to dates, months or weekdays

The Date section makes a coupon valid only between two dates, during chosen calendar months, or on chosen days of the week. It is in the Better Coupon Restrictions tab on the coupon edit screen, and all dates use your store timezone.
Allowed Date Range
Pick a start date, an end date, or both.
- The coupon becomes valid at 00:00 on the start date.
- It stays valid until 23:59:59 on the end date, so the end date is included.
- Leave either box empty for an open-ended range, such as “from 1 December onwards”.
This is different from WooCommerce’s Coupon expiry date on the General tab, which only sets an end. Use Allowed Date Range when a coupon should not work before a launch date.
Allowed Calendar Months
Choose one or more months. The coupon only works during those months, every year. Use it for seasonal codes such as a December-only offer that you do not want to recreate each year.
Allowed Weekdays
Choose one or more days. The coupon only works on those days, for example Saturday and Sunday for a weekend code.
Combining the date rules
Every date rule you set must pass. A range of 1 June to 31 August combined with Saturday and Sunday gives a code that only works at weekends over the summer.

Message and timezone
The default message for all of these rules is “This coupon is not currently available.” Change it with Custom Error Message in the Date section.
Dates and days are worked out in the timezone set at Settings › General › Timezone. If a coupon starts or stops working at the wrong hour, check that setting first.
