An option is available in the “Payouts” settings tab, to automatically & instantly pay affiliate commission into the affiliate’s account after a payout request is made.

This will work with PayPal Payouts, Stripe Payouts, Wise Payouts, and Store Credit Payouts.

There are 2 extra options available to set certain limitations on when payout requests shouldn’t be paid automatically:

• Set a threshold on the maximum amount that can be paid automatically. Any payout requests above this amount will require manual approval.
• Require manual approval for the affiliates’ first payout request.

This feature will allow you to fully automate your system, requiring even less work on your end.

However, when using this option, you should be even more careful of fraudulent activity. Keep an eye on your referrals and payouts to make sure nothing looks suspicious.

How to Set Up Automatic Payouts

Automatic payouts are part of the PRO version. If you are using the FREE version, payouts must be handled manually — see (FREE) How to pay affiliates with the FREE version.

Steps

1. In your WordPress admin area, go to Coupon Affiliates → Settings.
2. Open the Payouts settings tab.
3. Set up and enable at least one supported payout method (see below). Each method has its own credentials to enter, such as an API token or connected account.
4. Enable the automatic payouts option in the same Payouts settings tab. [confirm: exact label of the automatic payouts setting]
5. Optionally set a threshold for the maximum amount that can be paid automatically. Requests above this amount will require manual approval.
6. Optionally require manual approval for each affiliate’s first payout request.
7. Save your settings, then process a small test payout to confirm everything works before going live.

• Stripe Payouts

What Happens Next

Affiliates request a payout from the Payouts tab of their affiliate dashboard by clicking Request Payout. When automatic payouts are enabled, the commission is paid into the affiliate’s account instantly after the request is made, unless the request exceeds your threshold or is the affiliate’s first request and manual approval is required.

Requests that need manual approval remain on the admin Payouts page, where you can process or mark them as paid yourself.

Before You Automate

Because payments are sent without review, keep an eye on your referrals and payouts so that nothing suspicious slips through. Using the threshold and first-payout approval options is a good way to reduce that risk.
