The Products tab
Updated September 15, 2026
The Products tab breaks down what the customer actually buys. It has four sub-tabs: Products Purchased, Product Categories, Product Affinity and Next Best Products.
Products purchased
Every product the customer has bought, sorted by quantity with the highest first. Each row shows the product ID, name linked to the product, how many of their orders contained it, the total quantity bought, the total spent on it, and when they last bought it.
Line items whose product has since been deleted are not listed here, because there is no product left to name or link to. Their value is still counted in the customer’s order totals, so the products table can add up to slightly less than total spend on a store that has removed products.
Product categories
The same figures rolled up by product category, sorted by quantity. This is usually the faster way to see what a customer is actually interested in, particularly for a store with a large catalogue where their purchases are spread thinly across many individual products.
A product in several categories contributes to each of them, so category quantities can add up to more than the customer’s total item count.
Product affinity (Pro)
Which products get bought together. Each row is a pair of products and the number of orders that contained both. The table shows the top 20 pairings and states how many more were found.
On a single customer’s report this shows that customer’s own buying patterns. On a store-wide report it shows the pairings across your whole customer base, which is the more useful version for planning bundles and cross-sells.
Next best products (Pro)
Suggestions for what to offer the customer next. These are drawn from the cross-sells and upsells configured on the products the customer has already bought, with anything they have already purchased filtered out. Each suggestion shows the product name, its price, and which of their purchases prompted it.
If you have not set cross-sells or upsells on your products, this section will be empty. They are configured per product under Product data › Linked Products.
