The Coupons tab
Updated September 15, 2026
The Coupons tab lists every coupon code the customer has redeemed across the orders in the report, so you can see which promotions they respond to and how much those promotions have cost.
Columns
- Coupon Code – the code as it was applied to the order.
- Total Orders – how many of the customer’s orders used that coupon.
- Total Spent – the value of the items in the orders that used it.
- Total Discounts – the discount those orders received.
- Last Used – the date of the most recent order using the coupon.
If the customer has never used a coupon, the tab shows No coupons used.
How the figures are counted
Coupon codes are read from the order itself rather than from your coupon list, so a coupon that has since been deleted still appears here with the code it was applied under.
Where an order used more than one coupon, the order’s discount is counted against each of the codes on it. That means the Total Discounts column can add up to more than the discount figure shown on the Insights tab for a customer who stacks coupons. The Insights figure is the one to trust for what the discounting actually cost you.
Using this alongside discount behaviour
The Discount Behaviour panel on the Insights tab tells you what proportion of the customer’s orders carried a coupon at all. This tab tells you which codes those were. Read together, they show whether a customer is chasing every promotion you run or simply happened to catch one.
With the Pro version, any coupons generated for this customer from the Recommended Actions panel will appear here once they have been redeemed.
