Install and set up Advanced Customer Reports

Updated September 15, 2026

Advanced Customer Reports adds a Customer Reports screen to your WordPress admin at WooCommerce › Customer Reports. From there you can search for any customer and generate a detailed report covering their orders, spend, products, coupons, shipping, payment methods and more.

The plugin reads data that WooCommerce already stores. It does not add tracking code to your storefront and does not change anything about how orders are placed, so it is safe to activate on a live store.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.0 or later
  • WooCommerce 3.7 or later
  • An administrator account, since the reports screen requires the manage_options capability

The plugin declares compatibility with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS), so it works whether your orders are stored in the WooCommerce order tables or as posts.

Install the plugin

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file.
  2. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the ZIP file and select Install Now.
  4. Select Activate Plugin.

If you are using the Pro version, you will be prompted to activate your licence after activation. The free version needs no licence.

Find the reports screen

After activation, a Customer Reports item appears under the WooCommerce menu. The screen opens on the customers list, which shows every customer on your store with their order count and total spend.

The plugin also adds a Customer Report column to Users › All Users. Each row gets a View Report link that opens that user’s report directly.

Generate your first report

Type a name, email address, username or customer ID into the search box at the top of the screen and pick a match from the dropdown, then select Generate Report. You can also select View Report against any row in the customers list.

Leave the search box empty and select Generate Report to run the same report across every customer on the store at once.
