RelyWP: 2025 Year in Review

Our 2025 was packed with major releases, entirely new plugins, and a massive list of feature requests checked off our list.

Here is a comprehensive look at what we accomplished in 2025.

🚀 NEW: Simple Points and Rewards

The biggest news of the year was the launch of our brand-new plugin, Simple Points and Rewards for WooCommerce, in late 2025.

We built this plugin to offer a lightweight, “no-bloat” loyalty program that just works. Since its release in October, we’ve pushed out rapid updates to make it a strong competitor in the market.

• Launch (October 2025): We introduced the first version with core features like earning points for signups, orders, and referrals, along with a dedicated “Rewards” dashboard for customers.
• New Reward Types: In version 1.3.0, we added the highly requested “Points Discount on Checkout” feature, allowing customers to redeem points directly for an instant cart discount.
• Pro Features: We added a variety of new features to the PRO version including Inactivity Expiry (to encourage spending), Social Sharing rewards, Points for Reviews, and Birthday bonuses.
• Gamification (v1.6.0): Just before the year ended, we added Daily Login Bonuses and Streak Bonuses to keep your customers coming back every day.
• Seamless Migration: We added migration tools to help you switch easily from YITH, WPLoyalty, MyRewards, and other major points plugins.

There plugin is already doing much better than we expected, with over 30+ active installs and two 5 star reviews so far, with very little marketing done on our end so far.

💸 Coupon Affiliates

Our affiliate solution continued to mature in 2025 with a large variety of updates, and also reached 10 years old!

• New Affiliate Portal (v6.0.0): We introduced a modern, branded, full-screen affiliate portal for a more professional user experience.
• Signup Page Generator (v6.1.0): Earlier in the year, we released the “Signup Promo Page Generator”, helping you instantly create a landing page to recruit new affiliates.
• Terms Generator (v6.3.0): We also released the “Terms Generator”, to help you generate you affiliate programs terms and conditions page.
• Floating Affiliate Widget (v6.4.0): In July, we launched the Floating Affiliate Widget. This powerful tool allows you to display a floating dashboard on your site, giving affiliates instant access to their stats and referral links without needing to visit a separate portal page.
• Wise Payouts (v6.5.0): We added a brand new “Wise Payouts” payout method to easily pay affiliates via bank transfer.
• User Management (v6.7.0): We introduced the “View Affiliate” page for a better affiliate user performance overview.
• Admin Redesign (v7.1.0): We overhauled the admin experience with new filters, sorting options, and drag-and-drop dashboard reordering.
• Data Exports: Pro users gained the ability to Export Orders and Payouts to CSV, and we added a bulk “Update Unpaid Commission” tool to streamline payouts.

🛡️ Simple Cloudflare Turnstile

The Simple Cloudflare Turnstile plugin saw consistent development and improvements throughout 2025, and also reached 100,000 active installs! The plugin now also gains around 5800+ new active installs per month.

• Failsafe Mode: Released in late December, this crucial feature ensures your forms stay accessible even if Cloudflare experiences downtime, falling back to a “safe” state or reCAPTCHA.
• Developer Tools: You can now define your Site/Secret keys directly in wp-config.php for better security. We also added an Export/Import tool for settings.
• New Integrations: We added support for Kadence Forms, MailPoet, Jetpack Forms, WP User Manager, and the standard wp_login_form() function.
• Performance: We added a Resource Hint (Preconnect) option and “Load Scripts Globally” for Elementor to improve loading times and caching compatibility.

⚖️ Tax Exemption for WooCommerce

2025 was a year of major feature expansion for our Tax Exemption plugin, particularly with the release of version 2.0 in June.

• Version 2.0 Overhaul: We introduced a dedicated “Exempt Orders” admin page for better record-keeping and added the ability to display the exemption checkbox directly on the Cart Page, along with several other improvements.
• Stripe Tax Integration: A compatibility update brought full support for Stripe Tax, ensuring exemptions are handled correctly.
• Flux Checkout Support: In October (v2.2.0), we added full integration with Flux Checkout.
• Geographic Restrictions: We added powerful geographic restrictions (v2.3.0), allowing you to limit tax exemption eligibility to specific Cities or States, and refined the “Selected Countries Only” logic.

🤖 reCAPTCHA for WooCommerce

For the reCAPTCHA for WooCommerce plugin, we focused on stability and payments compatibility. This plugin also reached 40,000+ active installs at the end of 2025.

• Express Payment Fixes (v1.4.7): We improved compatibility with “Express” payment methods (like Apple Pay/Google Pay) to ensure reCAPTCHA doesn’t block valid fast-checkout attempts.
• Login & Register Flows: We refined how the plugin handles XMLRPC and REST API requests (v1.4.6), preventing unnecessary blocks during login and registration processes.
• Block Checkout: Improvements for WooCommerce Block-based checkout ensured compatibility with the latest themes.
