We introduced the “Points Discount on Checkout” reward type in Version 1.3.0.
This allows customers to redeem their points for an instant monetary discount directly on their current order, offering a more traditional and immediate redemption experience.
2. Expanded Earning Opportunities
- New Earning Methods (1.1.0): We significantly expanded the ways customers can earn, introducing: First Order Bonus, Bonus after X Orders, Write a Review, and the ever-popular Birthday points!
- Flexible Order Point Calculation (1.3.0): You now have granular control over how points are calculated for spending and orders, with options to include or exclude shipping and taxes in the total.
- Social Sharing for Referrals (1.5.0): You can now encourage customers to instantly earn points by sharing their unique referral links directly on social media platforms.
3. Enhanced Points and Product Display
- Display Points Across the Shop (1.3.0): You can now display potential points earnings right on your shop/category list pages, making the rewards program more visible to shoppers.
- Variation Product Accuracy (1.5.0): The points earning display on the product page now dynamically updates to show the correct points for the selected product variation.

- Dashboard Enhancements (1.1.0): The Rewards Page was renamed to Rewards Dashboard and now features new tabs for easier navigation, alongside a logged-out view to entice unregistered users.
- Customization Options (1.2.0): You can now customize the colors of the checkout rewards box and set a custom emoji or image URL for level icons.
- Points Inactivity Expiry (1.2.0): Set points to expire after a period of inactivity, complete with reminder emails and dashboard notices.
- Level Up Emails (1.2.0): Send configurable emails to customers when they successfully reach a new reward level.
- Customer Status Control (1.3.0): A new “Status” column and setting allows you to set a user’s status to “banned” preventing them from earning points or viewing rewards content.
- Admin Bulk Actions (1.5.0): Managing points is easier than ever. The Points Activity Log now supports bulk actions to delete or undo points adjustments for multiple entries at once.
- Editing Potential Points (1.5.0): On the edit order page, you can now edit the potential points an order will reward before they are issued, giving you flexibility for manual adjustments.
- Improved Free Product Rewards (1.5.0): Free product redemptions now generate a removable voucher code and are limited to one product, providing a cleaner checkout flow.
