If you are leaving AffiliateWP, the right replacement depends on two questions. Do you only sell through WooCommerce? And how much of your affiliate history do you need to bring with you?
For WooCommerce stores where affiliates share discount codes, we recommend Coupon Affiliates, because every feature is included on every plan. If you want AffiliateWP data moved across for you, Easy Affiliate has a one-click AffiliateWP migrator on all its plans. If you sell through more than just WooCommerce and want to start free, SliceWP is a good starting point.
One thing to know up front: we build Coupon Affiliates, so read our first pick with that in mind. Every plugin below, ours included, gets a real downside, and we say plainly where ours is the wrong choice.
Why people look for an AffiliateWP alternative
AffiliateWP is one of the best-known affiliate plugins for WordPress. It connects to WooCommerce and around twenty other plugins on its entry plan, including Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress and Restrict Content Pro, and its documentation is detailed. Most people who switch away do it for reasons of price and plan limits rather than quality.
The prices you see on the AffiliateWP pricing page are first-year prices at 50% off. Renewals are charged at full price: $299 a year for Personal (1 site), $399 for Plus (2 sites) and $599 for Pro (5 sites).
The bigger surprise for many store owners is how much sits in the Pro plan. Direct link tracking, the affiliate portal, lifetime commissions, recurring referrals, tiered rates, automatic payouts and the fraud prevention suite are all Pro-only. So a program that needs any of those costs $599 a year from the second year onwards. There is also no free version to try before buying, only a 14-day refund window.
If that fits your budget, AffiliateWP is still a good plugin. If it does not, the options below cover most of the same ground for less, and several of them can import your AffiliateWP data. If you’re starting from scratch rather than switching, our wider comparison of the best WooCommerce affiliate plugins covers twelve options side by side.
How we compared these plugins
We make an affiliate plugin ourselves, so we spend a lot of time with the tools in this space. For this update we went through each vendor’s own pricing page, renewal terms and documentation. We checked which plan each key feature sits on, and whether the plugin has a tool to import data from AffiliateWP (and what that tool actually moves). Several of these plugins are also covered in more detail in our wider comparison of the best affiliate plugins for WooCommerce.
Prices are shown at the full renewal rate in US dollars unless stated. Most vendors discount the first year, sometimes heavily, so your first invoice will usually be lower.

1. Coupon Affiliates

Coupon Affiliates is our plugin, built for WooCommerce stores. It is used on more than 7,000 stores and rated 4.9/5 on WordPress.org.
Each affiliate gets their own WooCommerce coupon, and any order placed with that code is credited to them at checkout. No click is needed, so a sale still counts when a customer hears the code on a podcast or buys on a different device days later. Referral links with click tracking, short links and QR codes are included as well, and there is a URL-only mode if you do not want to use coupons at all.
The main difference from AffiliateWP is how the plans work. Every paid plan includes every feature: lifetime and recurring commissions, multi-level affiliates, and one-click or scheduled payouts through PayPal, Stripe, Wise or store credit. There is no higher tier to unlock later.
Best for: WooCommerce stores where affiliates share discount codes, and anyone who wants all features without a top-tier plan.
Pros:
- Coupon tracking credits sales that link tracking can miss.
- All features on every paid plan, with monthly, yearly and lifetime options.
- Free version on WordPress.org and a 7-day free trial of PRO.
Cons:
- Built for WooCommerce, so it is the wrong pick if most of your sales go through another checkout plugin.
- No AffiliateWP importer. History from link-only referrals stays in your AffiliateWP export.
- Built around coupons, so it makes most sense when a discount code fits your margins.
Pricing:
- Monthly: $23.99 (1 site)
- Yearly: $179.99 (1 site)
- Lifetime: $599.99 (1 site)
A 10-site licence is also available. First-payment discounts often run, with renewals at full price. 14-day money-back guarantee.
Moving from AffiliateWP: There is no import tool. If your affiliates already use WooCommerce coupons with AffiliateWP, you assign those same coupons to them in Coupon Affiliates, and it rebuilds their stats from your order history. See the migration guide and our side-by-side Coupon Affiliates vs AffiliateWP comparison.

2. SliceWP

SliceWP is the closest like-for-like swap if you sell through more than WooCommerce. It integrates with WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, SureCart, Restrict Content Pro and several others, and it has more than 10,000 active installs with a 4.9/5 rating on WordPress.org.
The free version handles affiliate registration, referral links, visit tracking and basic commissions. The paid plans add the rest through add-ons. Both paid plans include every add-on, so the only differences between them are the number of sites and the level of support.
Best for: Sites that sell through more than WooCommerce and want a free starting point.
Pros:
- Free version on WordPress.org, updated regularly.
- Both paid plans include all features and add-ons.
Cons:
- No self-serve AffiliateWP importer.
- Payouts and recurring commissions need the paid add-ons, so the free version is only a starting point for most stores.
Pricing:
- Pro: $229/year or $589 lifetime (1 site)
- Pro Plus: $349/year or $899 lifetime (10 sites)
The first year is discounted. 30-day money-back guarantee.
Moving from AffiliateWP: SliceWP has an AffiliateWP migration page, but it is a contact form rather than a tool. The team says it may be able to help with the move.
3. Easy Affiliate

Easy Affiliate comes from Caseproof, the company behind MemberPress. It runs on your own site with no transaction fees and connects to WooCommerce, MemberPress, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberMouse and WishList Member on every plan.
For anyone leaving AffiliateWP, its main selling point is the built-in AffiliateWP migrator, which is listed on all three plans. According to Easy Affiliate, it moves affiliate accounts, performance history, creatives, links, commission rates and coupons.
Best for: Moving off AffiliateWP with as little manual work as possible, especially on MemberPress sites.
Pros:
- One-click AffiliateWP migration on every plan.
- Clean, simple admin screens and no transaction fees.
Cons:
- No free version. Multi-level commissions and automatic fraud detection need the Plus plan, and custom commission rules need Pro.
- The public changelog’s latest entry is version 1.4.0 from September 2025, so check how often it is updated before you commit.
Pricing:
- Basic: $249/year (1 site)
- Plus: $374/year (3 sites)
- Pro: $499/year (5 sites)
The first year is discounted, with renewals at full price. 14-day refund.
Moving from AffiliateWP: Use the built-in migrator. Easy Affiliate does not say whether past payouts come across, so keep your AffiliateWP payout export as a record.
4. AffiliatePress
AffiliatePress is one of the cheaper ways to get a full-featured program running. It lists more than 26 integrations, including WooCommerce, SureCart, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, LearnDash and GiveWP, and it has an Easy Migration Tool add-on that imports from AffiliateWP.
Pricing is also different from most plugins here. The yearly plans are shown at about half their list price, and the pricing page says renewals stay at the discounted rate. Lifetime licences are available on every tier.
Best for: Budget-conscious sites that want many integrations and an AffiliateWP import.
Pros:
- Low yearly and lifetime prices across three tiers.
- Migration add-on covers AffiliateWP, SliceWP and Ultimate Affiliate Pro.
Cons:
- The free version was closed on WordPress.org in February 2025 for a guideline violation. It is now a download from the AffiliatePress website, without WordPress.org reviews or updates.
- Recurring and multi-level commissions and Stripe payouts need Professional, and lifetime commissions are Enterprise-only.
Pricing:
- Standard: $159/year list, $79 shown (1 site), or $179 lifetime
- Professional: $299/year list, $139 shown (3 sites), or $299 lifetime
- Enterprise: $499/year list, $249 shown (10 sites), or $599 lifetime
A free Lite version is available from the AffiliatePress website. 14-day refund.
Moving from AffiliateWP: The Easy Migration Tool imports affiliates, referral and commission history, and affiliate groups. AffiliatePress says it is included free with any premium plan. Payout history is not mentioned.
5. Affiliate for WooCommerce

Affiliate for WooCommerce is made by StoreApps and sold through the WooCommerce.com marketplace, where it shows more than 6,000 active installs and a 4.5/5 rating from 123 reviews. It is one plan at one price, with multi-tier commissions, lifetime commissions and a detailed rules engine all included.
It also has a built-in importer. The documentation lists two supported sources: AffiliateWP and Ultimate Affiliate Pro.
Best for: WooCommerce-only stores that want advanced commission rules at a single flat price.
Pros:
- One price with no feature tiers.
- Built-in AffiliateWP import.
- Automated payouts through PayPal and Stripe.
Cons:
- WooCommerce only, and no free version.
- Settings are split between the plugin screens and the main WooCommerce settings, which takes time to learn.
Pricing:
- 1 year: $179
- 2 years: $286.40
30-day money-back guarantee.
Moving from AffiliateWP: The importer brings over active affiliates, their referral links and pretty links, approval rules and referral credit settings. The docs do not list past referrals or payouts. AffiliateWP must stay active while the import runs.
6. Ultimate Affiliate Pro
Ultimate Affiliate Pro has been sold on CodeCanyon for years, with more than 17,000 sales and a 4.58/5 rating from 366 reviews there. It is also sold through its own website on yearly plans. The feature list is long, with multi-level commissions, rank systems, coupons and many payout methods.
It includes an AffiliateWP migration module, and it has been improved over several releases.
Best for: Stores that want a long feature list at a low entry price.
Pros:
- Low first-year price, and a one-time CodeCanyon licence as an alternative.
- AffiliateWP migration built in.
Cons:
- The entry Pro plan leaves out fraud protection and the WooCommerce Subscriptions, MemberPress and LMS integrations. You need Full Package or Agency for those.
- Its own homepage, pricing page and CodeCanyon listing describe the pricing differently, so confirm what you are buying before checkout.
Pricing:
- Pro: $122/year (1 site)
- Full Package: $249/year (3 sites)
- Agency: $450/year (10 sites)
- CodeCanyon: $89 one-time, with 6 months of support
Prices are for renewal. The first year is discounted. 14-day refund on the direct plans.
Moving from AffiliateWP: The migration module moves your affiliates. Ultimate Affiliate Pro does not document whether referral or payout history comes across, so test it on a staging copy first.
7. Solid Affiliate

Solid Affiliate is made only for WooCommerce, and its setup wizard connects it to your store in a few steps. It covers commission rates by affiliate, product or category, coupon tracking, PayPal payouts and store credit payouts, with a WooCommerce Subscriptions integration.
Best for: WooCommerce-only stores that want a guided setup.
Pros:
- Setup wizard that gets most stores running quickly.
- No added fees on PayPal payouts.
Cons:
- The most expensive plugin renewals on this list, from $374 up to $749 a year.
- Lifetime commissions, fraud prevention and subscription renewal commissions are Pro-only, and there is no free version or trial.
Pricing:
- Starter: $374/year (1 site)
- Expert: $499/year (3 sites)
- Pro: $749/year (10 sites)
Large first-year discounts are usually available, with renewals at the regular price. 30-day money-back guarantee.
Moving from AffiliateWP: We found no AffiliateWP import tool in its documentation or changelog, so affiliates need to be re-added or imported another way.
8. YITH WooCommerce Affiliates

YITH is one of the largest WooCommerce plugin makers. Its affiliate plugin has a free version on WordPress.org with more than 6,000 active installs. The premium version adds affiliate coupons, commission rates by user, role or product, and scheduled payouts through PayPal, Stripe or YITH Account Funds.
Best for: Stores already using other YITH plugins.
Pros:
- Free version on WordPress.org.
- Detailed payout scheduling, with thresholds and minimum or maximum amounts.
Cons:
- No AffiliateWP importer.
- Coupon assignment and automatic payouts are premium-only. The free version is rated 4.2/5 from 19 reviews on WordPress.org.
Pricing:
- Premium: 179.99 per year, charged in your local currency (£179.99 when checked from the UK)
30-day money-back guarantee on first purchase. Renewals are not refundable.
Moving from AffiliateWP: There is no import tool, so plan to recreate affiliates and their coupons by hand or with a CSV import.
9. Tapfiliate

Tapfiliate is not a WordPress plugin. It is hosted affiliate software with more than 30 integrations, including WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce and Stripe. It suits businesses that sell on more than one platform and want one program across all of them.
Best for: Brands selling across WooCommerce and other platforms.
Pros:
- One program across many stores and platforms.
- Tracking runs on Tapfiliate’s servers, not your WordPress site.
Cons:
- Monthly fees, plus charges per 1,000 clicks and conversions once you pass your plan’s limits.
- Your affiliate data lives with Tapfiliate rather than in your own database.
Pricing:
- Launch: $89/month or $890/year (50 affiliates, 5,000 clicks and 500 conversions a month)
- Scale: $179/month or $1,790/year (unlimited affiliates, 100,000 clicks and 10,000 conversions a month)
- Enterprise: custom pricing
Free trials of 7 to 30 days, depending on the plan.
Moving from AffiliateWP: You can import your affiliate list by CSV. Tapfiliate says historical conversions cannot be imported, so past referral data stays in your AffiliateWP export.
How to move from AffiliateWP without losing affiliates
Whichever plugin you choose, the switch goes smoothly if you plan it. These steps apply even when the new plugin has an importer.
- Export everything first. In AffiliateWP, go to AffiliateWP > Tools > Export/Import and download CSV files of your affiliates, referrals, payouts and visits. No importer on this list confirms that it moves payout history, so these files are your record.
- Settle unpaid commissions. Pay out or write down every unpaid referral before you switch. Then it is clear which system owes each affiliate what.
- Keep old referral links working. AffiliateWP links use
?ref=followed by the affiliate ID by default, for exampleyoursite.com/?ref=422. Those links are already in affiliates’ videos, posts and emails. If the new plugin uses a different variable or new affiliate IDs, those links stop tracking. Match the variable where the new plugin allows it, or tell affiliates to update their links. - Reuse your coupons. Affiliate coupons are normal WooCommerce coupons, so they are not lost when AffiliateWP is deactivated. Assign the same codes to the same affiliates in the new plugin and customers can keep using them.
- Test before you switch off AffiliateWP. Place a test order through a referral link and one with a coupon, and check both are credited. Some importers need AffiliateWP to stay active during the import.
- Tell your affiliates. Send them the new dashboard login and any changed links before the switch, not after.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AffiliateWP alternative for WooCommerce?
For most WooCommerce-only stores, we would pick Coupon Affiliates, because coupon and link tracking and every feature are included on every plan. We make it, so weigh that. If you want your AffiliateWP data imported for you, Easy Affiliate and Affiliate for WooCommerce both have built-in importers.
Is there a free alternative to AffiliateWP?
Yes. Coupon Affiliates, SliceWP and YITH WooCommerce Affiliates all have free versions on WordPress.org. AffiliatePress also has a free Lite version, but it is downloaded from its own website. AffiliateWP itself has no free version.
Can I import my AffiliateWP data into another plugin?
Into some of them. Easy Affiliate, Affiliate for WooCommerce, AffiliatePress (through a free add-on) and Ultimate Affiliate Pro all have AffiliateWP import tools. They differ in what they move: affiliates are always included, referral history sometimes, and payout history is not confirmed by any of them. Export your data from AffiliateWP first, whichever you use.
Will my affiliates’ existing links still work after I switch?
Only if the new plugin reads the same URL format. AffiliateWP uses ?ref= plus the affiliate ID by default. If your new plugin uses a different variable, or gives affiliates new IDs, old links will stop tracking. Coupon codes are different. They are WooCommerce coupons, so they keep working if you assign them to the same affiliates in the new plugin.
Why is AffiliateWP more expensive after the first year?
AffiliateWP shows a 50% introductory discount on the first year, and renewals are at full price: $299, $399 or $599 a year depending on the plan. Most alternatives here do the same, so compare renewal prices, not first-year prices.
Is a hosted platform like Tapfiliate cheaper than a plugin?
Rarely, if WooCommerce is your only sales channel. A plugin costs one yearly or lifetime licence. Tapfiliate starts at $89 a month, which is $890 a year when paid annually, before any overage charges. A hosted platform makes more sense when you need one program across several different store platforms.
Which AffiliateWP alternative should you choose?
If WooCommerce is your only platform and your affiliates can share discount codes, Coupon Affiliates gives you every feature for less than AffiliateWP’s entry plan. Since we make it, we would also suggest trying the free version before taking our word for it.
If your store sits alongside MemberPress, Easy Digital Downloads or other checkout plugins, look at SliceWP or Easy Affiliate first. If the priority is moving your AffiliateWP data with the least effort, choose one of the plugins with a built-in importer, and still export your AffiliateWP data before you switch.
