Is there a free version?
Yes. The free version is on WordPress.org and gives you a store credit balance for every customer, credit vouchers, customer top-ups, refunds to store credit, gift card products, the checkout redemption tool, reports and the migration tool. PRO adds cashback, conditional earning rules, credit expiry, bulk credit tools, customer gifting and WooCommerce Subscriptions support.
What happens to customer balances if my PRO licence ends?
Nothing is lost. Customer balances, vouchers and activity history are all kept, and the free features keep working. Your customers can still see and spend their credit at checkout.
Does it work with the block checkout?
Yes. The Credit Redemption Tool and the compact cart widget work with the WooCommerce block cart and checkout, and with the classic shortcode checkout. The plugin uses standard WooCommerce hooks, so it also works with most custom checkout plugins.
Do customers need an account to use store credit?
To spend a balance, yes. Balances belong to a customer account, so the redemption tool shows for logged-in customers. Guests can still enter a voucher code in the normal WooCommerce coupon field, and the balance check shortcode lets anyone look up a voucher without logging in.
Can I move from another wallet or gift card plugin?
Yes. The built-in migration tool imports balances, vouchers and gift cards from 10 plugins, including TeraWallet, WooCommerce Account Funds, WooCommerce Smart Coupons, YITH Gift Cards and PW Gift Cards. A preview scan shows what it found before you start, and it is safe to run more than once.
How do I refund an order to store credit?
Open the order and click the “Refund as Store Credit” button. You can refund the full amount or part of it, and the credit goes straight to the customer’s balance. It works with both the classic and HPOS order screens.
Can I sell gift cards?
Yes. Create a product with the “Store credit / gift card” product type and offer fixed amounts, set choices such as 25, 50 or 100, or let the customer pick the amount. Buyers can send the gift card to a friend by email.
Does it support multiple currencies?
Yes. Balances are stored in your shop’s base currency and shown in the customer’s active currency, using the rates from switchers such as WPML, Weglot and WooCommerce Multi-Currency.
Can I pay affiliates in store credit?
Yes. Coupon Affiliates PRO connects to Simple Store Credit, so affiliate commission can be paid straight into an affiliate’s store credit balance or sent as a voucher. The free version of Simple Store Credit is all you need on the wallet side.
